Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC REX Healthcare. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, including pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize care accordingly.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and utilize medical equipment as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of relevant and current experience required.
