About the Job

At Quality Talent Group, we're seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team at Crash Champions. As a Body Shop Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Examine damaged vehicles and develop efficient repair plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and quality repairs.
  • Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
  • Make informed decisions on repair vs. replacement, considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
  • Remove and replace vehicle components, including upholstery, accessories, and trim.
  • Participate in safety meetings and adhere to company protocols.
  • File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
  • Supervise apprentices and provide guidance on complex tasks.
Qualifications
  • Ability to operate a frame machine.
  • Certification in body repair is preferred.
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
  • I-CAR welding certification.
  • Analytical skills for interpreting measuring data.
  • Supervisory experience in repair personnel.
  • Pass a thorough background check.
