Job Summary

The Assistant Nurse Manager at Albany Medical Center plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position is responsible for coordinating, planning, and administering various aspects of nursing operations, including financial and operational duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor professional caregivers in the delivery of patient care
  • Facilitate patient access, communication, and transitions throughout the acute care stay
  • Provide leadership for direct patient care provided by specialty nursing unit staff
  • Assure competent, compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customers
  • Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and services

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. A strong understanding of nursing operations and policies is also essential.
