Job Title:Childcare Specialist About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Childcare Specialist to join our team at CAIRO Academy. As a key member of our preschool program, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment that fosters the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children in our care.

Key Responsibilities: * Assist Lead Teachers in implementing daily activities and general program operations * Develop and maintain a well-designed, safe, and engaging classroom environment * Implement lesson plans and encourage participation from children * Actively engage in activities, manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials * Model behaviors that demonstrate an understanding, acceptance, and welcoming of diversity and inclusion * Collaborate with teaching teams to plan family engagement events, class field trips, and conferences * Support families as partners in their child's learning and development

Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education preferred * Experience working with young children in a preschool setting * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of people * Physical ability to lift, bend, and move equipment and supplies as needed * Availability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional evenings
