Position Overview:
The Nursing Unit Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while fostering a supportive environment for staff.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and supervise the nursing teams during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
2. Implement and facilitate the care delivery model, providing mentorship to nursing staff and coordinating with various departments to enhance patient care.
3. Collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure optimal staffing levels, focusing on maintaining a safe and efficient nursing environment while minimizing reliance on overtime and agency staff.
4. Engage in the recruitment process, orienting new hires, and providing input on employee evaluations, promotions, and transitions.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Active Registered Nurse licensure from the State Board.

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate ranging from $42 to $48, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
