Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all TREVIICOS and OSHA safety regulations are followed and enforced.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work follows TREVIICOS Quality Control Manual, Approved Submittals, and Work Plans.
  • Project Engineering: Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support for construction effort, including participation in construction planning and design, interpretation of design, application of construction methods, resolution and documentation of design conflicts, constructability reviews, etc.
  • Procedure Development: Develop, implement, and administer project engineering procedures and other work controlling documents.
  • Record Management: Prepare and manage production records and quality control records.
  • Research and Resolution: Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences, and errors.
  • Documentation: Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work.
  • Procurement: Order materials, write purchase orders, and track inventory.
  • Change Order Management: Assist in preparation of change order documentation and claim analysis.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Interface all on-site departments as required to resolve problems, ensure quality of construction, etc. in support of overall project schedule.
Requirements
  • Education: 4-year degree, preferably in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical training and related experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years similar construction engineering experience.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, etc., plus an in-depth understanding of the interdependence and relationship between other functional units required.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, and knowledge of CAD.
  • Communication: Converse effectively using both verbal and written communication.
  • Leadership: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus demonstrated ability to manage a team of varied disciplines.
  • Decision Making: Make decisions and assume accountability.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Time Management: Thorough and systematic, able to effectively manage time and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Able to work in a dynamic environment.
