Central Carolina Community College is seeking a highly qualified Engineering Instructor to join our team. As an Adjunct Faculty Member, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of future engineers and contributing to the college's mission of providing exceptional learning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging lectures, hands-on activities, and assignments that align with student learning outcomes.
- Provide personalized feedback and support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades, adhering to the college's grading policy.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in engineering education, incorporating relevant technologies and tools into your teaching.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture of care and advocacy, recognizing the diverse experiences and perspectives of our students and community.
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field with 18 or more graduate hours in Engineering.
- Previous experience in higher education, preferably in engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in using Blackboard and other educational technologies.
- Five years of practical or industry experience in an engineering field, with some CAD experience.
