Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safety mindset when performing inspections and service work, adhering to OSHA regulations and guidelines.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment, including electrical and mechanical adjustments or repairs.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Keep customers informed of any major discrepancies or safety-related matters concerning their equipment, maintaining a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources.
  • Equipment Management: Responsible for company equipment, including company vehicles, tools, and ensuring the use of own hand tools and meter.
  • Travel and Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record, capable of working independently without direct supervision.
Requirements
  • Experience and Qualifications: Experience in or ability to work with, and troubleshoot all types of cranes and hoist equipment, electrical or mechanical, is preferred. Developing a working knowledge of all Federal, State, and local codes for overhead traveling bridge cranes and hoists is essential.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, both internally and externally, to inform the status of the job and represent the company in a professional manner.
