As a key member of our interdependent team, you will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating a treatment plan to achieve positive patient and departmental outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, including those with neurological conditions, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Collaborate with the patient, patient's family, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, perform various medical procedures, and manage patient flow to ensure efficient and effective care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider certification (required within 90 days of hire/transfer date).
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification (required within 90 days of hire/transfer date).
- Minimum of one year acute surgical critical care nursing experience.
