Key Responsibilities
  • Prep patients for diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality images of the human body, using your expertise to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis, working closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to maintain your expertise.
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to strict quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
  • Two years of X-Ray Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
