We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Specialist to join our team at Valley Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Labor and Delivery department.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze data to identify expected outcomes for patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Develop and prioritize the plan of care to attain measurable goals and deliver medications based on continual assessment and patient response.
- Implement interventions and evaluate results, particularly for Critical Care patients.
- Identify educational needs and implement learning plans to ensure patient and family education.
- Deliver care with critical thought and judgment, particularly in relation to Critical Care patients.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required or currently enrolled.
- Current RN license in Texas and/or current Compact License.
- One year of current Labor and Delivery experience required or willingness to participate in a training program.
- Current BCLS Certification required.
- Current ACLS and NRP Certifications required.
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring course completion within 90 days of hire date.
