Position Overview:
This is a full-time faculty role requiring on-campus presence. Texas Christian University's Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences (HCNHS) is seeking candidates for a 12-month appointment as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Professional Practice in Nursing. Preference will be given to applicants who possess a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. Candidates with Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification are highly encouraged to submit their applications.
Qualifications:
We are particularly interested in individuals with educational backgrounds and clinical expertise in the areas of psychiatric-behavioral health, adult medical-surgical nursing, and simulation. Experience in teaching both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs is preferred. Applicants must hold or be eligible for a current, valid, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse and/or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Texas.
Compensation:
The salary for this position will be commensurate with the candidate's education and experience.
