Job Summary: The Clinical Psychologist-ESAP at Loma Linda University Health provides short-term counseling and comprehensive assessments for eligible students and their immediate family members. This role involves establishing protocols and coordinating student referral accommodations with identified neuropsychological testing providers. Additional duties may include performing other tasks as needed.

Education and Experience: A doctoral degree in clinical psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from a regionally accredited institution is required, preferably American Psychological Association (APA) accredited. Completion of a predoctoral internship with an APA or California Psychological Association (CPA)-accredited program is also required. A minimum of two years of experience in a behavioral health care setting is necessary.

Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will possess knowledge of psychological assessment and intervention theory, empirical literature, and techniques. They will be able to identify the need for supervision/consultation and utilize input appropriately. The ideal candidate will also be able to read, write legibly, speak in English (and Spanish preferred) with professional quality, use computer and software programs necessary to the position, troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment, and relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others.

Licensures and Certifications: A current California Board of Psychology (BOP) license in good standing is required. If the current license is held in another state, the candidate must obtain a California license within 180 days of hire, as allowed by the State of California.
