BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients in their homes.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on evaluations and physician's orders.
- Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
- Continually assess and revise treatment plans, participating in multidisciplinary care planning as needed.
- Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other representatives on rehabilitative care and activities.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in South Carolina.
- A certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association, or equivalent education and work experience.
- Solid computer skills, with prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
