Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Maryland Oncology. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment.
  • Promote efficient patient flow and patient care, including exams and procedures.
  • Perform clinic support tasks, including miscellaneous clerical duties, answering phones, and maintaining physician schedules.
  • Support and adhere to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants preferred.
  • 0-3 years experience as a medical assistant or nursing assistant.
  • Current BCLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
  • Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
