Job Summary:
We are seeking an entry-level Process Engineer to join our Durham, North Carolina office. The ideal candidate will have some internship or co-op experience in the design, operation, and/or construction of industrial processes within the life science industries. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
As a Process Engineer, you will work collaboratively with our local team to support clients with engineering design for new production facilities and provide technical support in the exciting areas of pharma, biotech, and agrifood. Your responsibilities will include:

• Participating in conceptual design projects
• Developing preliminary and detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications
• Surveying and critically reviewing engineering designs, test plans, and assessing risks
• Ensuring projects are implemented in accordance with the agreed scope, specifications, and timelines
• Providing guidance and recommendations to clients and contractors during procurement and construction phases
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary design teams
• Performing data analysis, preparing technical reports, and elaborating written procedures
• Supporting positive client interactions and sub-consultant interface

Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Recent graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply. Preferred 0-3 years of progressive experience or internships in process design or plant engineering in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or food & beverage industries. The ideal candidate will also have flexibility to travel to external manufacturing sites as needed, excellent communication skills, and a desire to learn and improve technical and management skills.
