We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at Children's Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures in our Ambulatory Surgery Center.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures by ensuring that surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely.
- Prepare the sterile field for the surgical procedure by securing sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment based on the surgeon's preference cards.
- Assist the surgical team with cleaning of the operating room on completion of the surgery for the next scheduled procedure.
- Lead team participating and expectation in the cleaning and preparing instruments for terminal sterilization on completion of the surgery.
- Remain current with changes in clinical standards of care and evidence-based practice.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- Current Surgical Technologist Certification issued by an approved organization.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.
