- Staff Management: Interview, hire, develop, train, supervise, schedule, and manage assigned staff, adhering to the company's performance management policy.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and ensure that staffing levels and scheduling patterns are adequate and have appropriate coverage at the community, investigating and documenting incidents, and instituting corrective action in a timely manner.
- Resident Care: Perform pre-admission assessments of all potential residents, assist in orienting new residents to the physical environment and community culture, and initiate and coordinate discharge planning processes.
- Supply Management: Ensure the availability of adequate and appropriate supplies and equipment, developing and managing the departmental budget process, and supervising revenue and expenses regularly to remain within established budgetary guidelines.
- Communication: Maintain current medical records, report significant resident changes to appropriate individuals, and take a proactive role in promoting person-centered care and culture change initiatives.
- Training and Development: Plan and schedule staff training programs for Assisted Living staff, attend all required training, in-service, and staff/community meetings, and maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and coworkers.
- LPN/RN licensure
- Experience in healthcare management and leadership
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
