Job Summary:

As a Data Analyst with Pan Asia Resources, you will play a key role in analyzing complex healthcare data to extract valuable insights and recommendations that support business decisions and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources, including claims data, member information, and provider data.
Perform in-depth analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing actionable insights to key stakeholders.
Develop and deliver comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and support decision-making.
Utilize domain knowledge of healthcare insurance, including understanding of claims processing, member enrollment, provider networks, and reimbursement methodologies.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data analysis tasks and deliverables.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis and research on healthcare industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive benchmarks.
Write complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from relational databases, such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
Optimize database queries and performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
Maintain data integrity and consistency within the database, performing data validation and reconciliation as needed.
Serve as a subject matter expert on the Facets system, providing support, troubleshooting, and enhancement recommendations.
Collaborate with IT teams to configure and customize the Facets system to meet business requirements and data analysis needs.
Conduct data mapping and integration activities between Facets and other systems or data sources.
Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
Develop and implement quality control measures to monitor and improve data quality over time.
Participate in audits and compliance reviews, providing documentation and analysis as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the healthcare insurance industry.
Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis; experience with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
Strong knowledge of healthcare insurance processes, including claims processing, member enrollment, and provider networks.
Experience working with the Facets system or similar healthcare insurance software is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
