Empath Health is currently in search of a Home Care Registered Nurse to provide essential nursing services to our participants.
As a key member of our healthcare team, you will deliver both direct and indirect nursing care tailored to the needs of individuals in their homes and at our center. You will operate under the guidance of the Home Care Coordinator RN, the Elder Services Clinical Director, and the Elder Services Medical Director, while exercising independence in utilizing your advanced nursing skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex clinical scenarios, ensuring high-quality care for assigned participants.
- Supervise both licensed and unlicensed staff, providing direction and support.
- Report directly to the Home Care Coordinator RN regarding participant care and team activities.
Position Requirements:
- Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSRN) is highly preferred.
- Licensure: Current Florida Registered Nurse License is mandatory.
- Valid CPR certification from recognized organizations such as the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Possession of a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation is essential.
- Medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations are required prior to engaging with participants.
