We are rapidly expanding our Hog Striping and Waterblasting divisions and are currently looking to fill multiple positions for Construction Crew Members responsible for assisting in various tasks that support daily operations.
Job Expectations:
Consistent physical effort, including extended periods of driving, standing, and walking (often exceeding several hours), loading and unloading equipment from company vehicles, traversing diverse ground surfaces, and frequently lifting weights of at least 50 pounds.
Working from elevated platforms, ladders, or truck beds.
Utilizing hand and power tools, with the manual dexterity required to operate keyboards and smartphones, and physical agility to repetitively use arms, legs, and hands.
Working outdoors, maintaining safety around high-speed traffic areas, heavy construction machinery, fuel fumes, and construction materials.
Department-dependent tasks may involve working in wet environments with limited visibility.
Comfortable operating in work zones with moving vehicles while maintaining constant awareness of surroundings, including machinery placement, fellow employees, and ongoing construction activities.
Vision must be sufficient to observe moving vehicles, read highway construction signs, and interpret instructions, manuals, reports, and construction plans.
Hearing must be adequate to detect approaching vehicles, comprehend audible commands from supervisors at a distance, and engage in conversations both in person and over the phone.
Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbally, with the capability to complete daily paperwork as required by supervisors.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, which may include day or night shifts, weekends, and/or holidays, adapting to changing work schedules, working overtime, and collaborating with other employees.
A valid driver's license is required, along with passing a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and controlled substance test, as well as background and criminal record checks.
Must adhere to company standards for background checks, criminal records, driving records, and controlled substance/drug testing post-employment.

A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a labor-related role.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record, as the position involves driving a company vehicle.
Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Mechanical aptitude is essential.
Ability to represent Hog Technologies positively to customers.
A Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) is preferred.
Knowledge of safety regulations in phosphate mining, along with a Phosphate Card, is advantageous. The company will provide Phosphate Safety training and other site-specific training for each assignment.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not entail supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This role operates in various environments based on job location, which may include hot, wet, cold, dusty, and noisy conditions.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position requiring the laborer to work either of two shifts (day or night). The day shift typically follows a Monday through Friday schedule, while the night shift operates from Sunday to Thursday. The day shift generally begins at 6 AM, with travel to the work site in a company vehicle.
The night shift laborer will report to work at 7:00 PM, with all work performed at customer locations across Florida; some out-of-state work is also scheduled annually.
Construction Crew Members may be required to work 8-14 hours per shift. Some tasks may occur during facility shutdowns or overnight. Night and weekend work may be necessary to meet customer demands. Per diem compensation is provided for each night away from headquarters, and hotel accommodations are covered by the company.Travel:
This position entails a travel requirement of 75-80%.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
