We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paramedic I to join our team at Lake West Medical Center. As a Paramedic I, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and emergency medical services in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients and healthcare providers in the Emergency Department, including performing 12-lead EKGs, blood draws, and initiating Hep-locks.
- Conduct point-of-care testing, aerosol treatments, and other delegated procedures as directed by clinicians.
- Ensure the daily completion of quality controls, defibrillator checks, and refrigerator checks.
- Transport patients and equipment as needed.
- Perform ABGs and gain IV access as directed by orders.
- Graduation from a state-accredited paramedic program.
- 3+ years of paramedic experience (Level II) or 5+ years of experience (Level III) with a degree in Emergency Medical Services or a related field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- State of Ohio Paramedic Certification and PALS certification (except for CMC).
- Paramedic Specialty Certification (required for Level II & III).
