Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnostics and Repairs: Use state-of-the-art computer systems to diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, including tires, brakes, suspension, and engine problems.
  • Tire and Wheel Services: Perform tire rotations, balancing, and repairs, as well as wheel alignments and replacements.
  • Brake and Suspension Services: Inspect and repair brake systems, including pads, rotors, and calipers, as well as suspension components and steering systems.
  • Engine and Cooling Services: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on engine and cooling systems, including oil changes, filter replacements, and radiator repairs.
  • Electrical and Electronics Services: Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems, including batteries, starters, and alternators.
  • Exhaust and Emissions Services: Inspect and repair exhaust systems, including mufflers, catalytic converters, and oxygen sensors.
  • Visual Safety and Courtesy Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential safety issues and recommend necessary repairs.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including brakes, suspension, engine, and electrical systems.
  • Certifications: State-specific auto repair certifications and a valid driver's license.
  • Tools and Equipment: Own tools and equipment, including a diagnostic scanner and other specialized tools.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.

Compensation

$22.00 per hour
