Work Schedule:

Position Summary:
We are in search of a skilled and committed Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) care. In this full-time role, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care across multiple Med-Surg units, catering to a variety of patient needs. This position demands flexibility and adaptability, as you will be required to work both day and night shifts, including weekends.
Key Duties:
- Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring confidentiality and privacy.
- Conduct precise nursing assessments and make informed diagnoses to facilitate patient care.
- Design and execute patient care plans, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Adjust to the diverse needs of various Med-Surg units, delivering consistent and compassionate care.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of recent acute Med-Surg experience is mandatory.
- Possession of an active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida, or the ability to obtain it prior to employment.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred; must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
