Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As an Oncology Infusion RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide optimal patient care in accordance with the Oncology Nursing Society and Vermont Board of Nursing guidelines, as well as Central Vermont Medical Center policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge and work amicably with other staff members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an approved Professional Nursing Education Program.
  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
  • Current Oncology Certified Nurse preferred.
  • Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required.
  • One to three years of hospital or office nursing experience.
  • Minimum 1 year ambulatory oncology infusion experience.
