Position Title: HVAC Service Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- The HVAC Service Technician will oversee the operation, repair, replacement, and preventive maintenance of commercial and industrial heating and cooling systems.
- Must possess a solid understanding of chillers, boilers, air handling units, fan coil units, water treatment systems, controls, and other mechanical and electrical equipment within buildings.
- Technicians should be knowledgeable about kitchen and refrigeration systems and various refrigerants.
- Collaborate with the Dispatch Team to ensure timely and complete task execution.
- Adhere to safe work practices in compliance with OSHA Health & Safety and NFPA 70e standards while performing assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintaining similar commercial equipment, along with a current Universal CFC certification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision in isolated settings.
- Proficient in the safe use of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary for all work assignments.
- Must possess a valid Driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, or squat for extended periods and lift, move, and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
- Capability to climb stairs and ladders and work at elevated heights.
- Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required, including but not limited to dust masks, gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection.
