About the Role

The HVAC Technician is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial and industrial HVAC systems. As an experienced technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems, as well as identifying and addressing maintenance risks on equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
  • Identify maintenance risks on equipment and take corrective action
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
  • Clean, adjust, and repair systems, and perform periodic maintenance
  • Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to junior technicians
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance functions and ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years' experience as an HVAC technician in a commercial or industrial setting
  • Refrigeration/HVAC certification
  • High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
  • Ability to work at various heights and climb ladders safely
  • Proficiency in operating a range of lifts and mechanical devices
