Job Opportunity

Birch Tree Psychotherapy is seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our team at our South Barrington location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient treatment to youth, adults, and families at our Chicago Loop and South Barrington locations.
  • Work with children and adolescents, as well as their families, to address various mental health concerns.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and a Health at Every Size framework.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to promote healthy relationships and support systems.
  • Participate in weekly clinical supervision and consultation groups to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Illinois Licensed Clinical Psychologist, LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW (may also accept LPC or Post-Doc).
  • Significant clinical experience working with children and adolescents, with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
  • Ability to work from an intersectional feminist perspective and incorporate a Health at Every Size framework into treatment.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, particularly LGBTQ and size diverse individuals.
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends.
