Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for the manufacturing and handling of raw materials and/or finished products at our plant. This includes operating mechanized equipment safely, efficiently, and within specifications, as well as troubleshooting, inspecting, and fixing issues with equipment as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating equipment to manufacture and handle raw materials and finished products
  • Troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing solutions
  • Inspecting and maintaining equipment to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Monitoring operations from the control room and taking corrective action as necessary
  • Sampling and testing products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Loading and unloading trucks, railcars, and bags as required
  • Packing, inspecting, and dumping bags, totes, sacks, or drums
  • Filling tanks or transferring product as necessary
  • Maintaining inventory and performing tasks of varying physical demand
  • Working with chemicals and other substances in a safe and controlled environment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work in potentially loud and strong odorous environments
  • Physical stamina to lift and carry 50 pounds, stand and walk for sustained periods, climb stairs and ladders, bend, reach, push, pull, and enter tanks
  • Willingness to work a full-time schedule, including four shifts (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am, and swinging shift) and availability for overtime
  • Ability to pass pre-employment assessments, background check, physical and drug screen as applicable by local government
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
