Job Summary:The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and be certified in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, and CPI. They will be responsible for evaluating, triaging, and implementing care for patients in a diverse range of situations, working collaboratively with a team of caregivers to provide excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide basic bedside care, including wound cleaning and dressing, and administering IV therapy.
- Maintain supplies and medical equipment, and report any suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
- Stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Relate to people of all ages and backgrounds, and possess good coping skills for managing stress in a fast-paced environment.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, and CPI.
- 2 years of recent acute care experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stress effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Please note that additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
