Broad River Rehabilitation is seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Care Specialist to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in providing exceptional patient care and optimizing abilities and skills of patients in facilities.

Job Summary:

As a Rehabilitation Care Specialist, you will work under the direction of licensed therapists to transport and move patients as directed, prepare patients, equipment and supplies for treatments, and assist with telehealth visits. You will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with professional staff and good public relations with patients and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport and move patients as directed.
  • Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for treatments.
  • Assist licensed personnel in patient care.
  • Maintain awareness of change in patient population, programs, and patient conditions and inform licensed personnel.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maximize contribution as a team.
  • Bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, transferring, lifting 40 or more pounds, and assisting adults/children weighing 200 pounds or more with possible use of mechanical devices where applicable.
  • Must be able to proficiently type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
  • Minimum High School education or equivalent.
  • Minimum one-year healthcare experience.
  • CNA Certification.
Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
