We are in search of a seasoned Lead Infrastructure Engineer with a decade of expertise in overseeing and optimizing server systems, particularly with an emphasis on cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will possess substantial knowledge in scripting, Windows Server management, and cloud server environments. Familiarity with Linux server management is an added advantage. This role entails ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of our server systems, both on-site and in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities

  • Over 10 years of experience in server management and engineering.
  • Proficient in cloud server frameworks, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong scripting capabilities in languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Experience in Windows Server management, including Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of Linux server management, including CLI and shell scripting.
  • Understanding of networking and storage solutions.
  • Expertise in security best practices and implementation of protective measures.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Essential Duties

  • Design, implement, and sustain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud server infrastructures.
  • Automate and script server management tasks for efficiency.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, including software updates, backups, and disaster recovery exercises.
  • Monitor server performance and proactively resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure integration of server systems with other applications.
  • Establish and uphold security protocols to safeguard server infrastructure.
  • Provide mentorship and technical support to junior engineers.
  • Document server configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guidelines.

  • ITIL V3/V4 Foundations certification preferred.
  • High proficiency with Windows operating systems.
