Key Responsibilities:- Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships based on trust, integrity, and exceptional service.
- Tax Compliance and Preparation: Prepare and review tax returns for a variety of entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct tax research on complex issues and transactions, interpreting tax laws, rulings, and regulations to support tax positions and strategies.
- Team Collaboration and Mentoring: Collaborate with colleagues and partners to deliver integrated tax solutions and coordinate services across different practice areas within the firm.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; CPA license or progress towards CPA preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in public accounting or tax advisory role, with a focus on tax compliance and client management.
- Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements for small businesses, individuals, and partnerships.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., ProSystem fx, UltraTax) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and firm leadership.
