Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join their team for a travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care (LTC) setting.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist to provide skilled physical therapy services to patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of physical therapy procedures and techniques.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and modify patient physical therapy plans of treatment under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Provide skilled physical therapy services in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Effectively collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.
  • Use physical treatment procedures to help improve mobility and relieve pain and disability caused by disease or injury.
Requirements:
  • Must have earned an Associate's degree from an accredited school.
  • Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Current CPR certification.
