Medical Director Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, America's oldest public hospital. With its affiliation with the NYU School of Medicine, our 844-bed hospital is a major referral center for complex cases.
As a Physician Assistant at Bellevue, you will be part of an interdisciplinary clinical staff that sees over 110,000 emergency room visits and 500,000 outpatient visits annually. You will work closely with supervising physicians, residents, and other medical professionals to optimize patient experience.
The ideal candidate will have current New York State registration as a Physician Assistant or a limited permit issued by New York State to practice as a Physician Assistant. Key Responsibilities:- Manage patient care in the outpatient and inpatient setting through conducting history and physical exam, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing appropriate medical treatment.
- Educate and counsel patients regarding medical diagnoses and treatment options.
- Collaborate with supervising physicians, residents, and other medical professionals to optimize patient experience.
- Demonstrate, teach, supervise, and precept PA students and pre-PA students in clinical and surgical activities.
This is a full-time position working Monday - Thursday 9:00pm - 7:00am (OVERNIGHTS) with no weekends or holidays. The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
