We are currently seeking a full-time Pet Care Retail - Customer Service Specialist who shares our enthusiasm for canine care. We offer a competitive starting wage of $17.50 per hour along with employee discounts on our products and services.
Your Role as a Pet Care Retail - Customer Service Specialist
In this position, you will have a flexible schedule that accommodates the needs of our clients. Your working hours will span from Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 7:00 pm, with Saturdays from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Sundays from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. If you have a passion for pets and enjoy engaging with customers, this role is designed for you.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Pet Care Retail - Customer Service Specialist, your daily tasks will include:
- Managing the check-in and check-out procedures for daycare and boarding services utilizing our PetExec software.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating reservations as necessary.
- Composing emails and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
- Handling client communications regarding dog drop-offs, pickups, and service inquiries.
- Answering phone calls and providing detailed information and assistance.
- Ensuring the community storage area and feeding room are organized and well-stocked.
- Processing client transactions efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
- Contributing to a clean and welcoming workspace.
- Interacting with dogs, facilitating their movement between daycare and training sessions, and preparing their meals and medications.
- Assisting with retail inventory management, including inputting quantities, pricing, and displaying items.
- Keeping the storefront organized and visually appealing.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Strong communication skills to interact with various levels of the organization and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operating systems.
- Ability to accurately handle currency and perform basic math calculations.
