Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Firearms Specialist to join our team at Cabela's. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for evaluating and purchasing used firearms, ensuring compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and purchase used firearms, utilizing your expertise and resources to ensure accurate appraisals and marketable values.
  • Acquire firearms in accordance with all ATF, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Initiate 4473 forms with customers and conduct final checks of applicable company, state, and federal forms prior to firearm transfer.
  • Provide legendary customer service by greeting, consulting, and assisting customers in finding merchandise and making buying decisions.
  • Process firearms transactions efficiently and accurately, adhering to all internal policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in the firearms industry or collecting firearms.
  • Knowledge of purchasing firearms, firearms models, and marketable values.
  • Ability to safely handle firearms and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
