Job Title: Licensed Mental Health Professional
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our team at Life Changing Solutions, LLC. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide high-quality mental health services to our clients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision to non-licensed staff, promoting individual development and proper caseload management.
- Oversee program admissions, transitions, and discharges, ensuring seamless client care.
- Assess crisis situations, assign and prescribe appropriate services as needed, and complete comprehensive initial psychosocial assessments and assign proper diagnosis.
- Develop and execute individual treatment plans with clients, working closely with the clinical team to ensure effective care.
- Complete initial authorization request forms, review and sign progress notes, and provide feedback as necessary.
- Participate in clinical reviews, provide Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) to clients, and gather information for re-assessments.
- Enforce program policies and procedures to ensure agency compliance and assist physicians during medication management appointments when needed.
- Be available on-call for clients when required.
Administrative Duties:
Complete documentation for assessments and assessment scales within 48 hours of the session, prepare and write accurate progress notes, progress summaries, and other documents related to services provided to the client, and submit paperwork for clinical supervision.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling and current licensure as a LPC or LCSW, with an active and good-standing license.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule with minimal direct supervision.
- Must possess NPI number and CAQH number, register with LAMedicaid, and have excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate orally and verbally, handle multiple tasks, and meet critical deadlines for data entry.
- Abide by agency policies and procedures, including confidentiality, incident reporting, FWA, code of ethics, non-discrimination, and possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to diagnose individuals according to DSM standards, develop and execute treatment plans, supervise and instruct non-licensed clinicians, and obtain CPR certification within 45 days if the position is offered.
Training and Working Conditions:
The Licensed Mental Health Professional will work in the office but may provide services in a community-based environment, requiring travel to homes and the use of telehealth as an approved method of service delivery.
