The Norton Healthcare Brain Tumor Center, a collaborative initiative between Norton Neuroscience Institute and Norton Cancer Institute, stands as the largest and most comprehensive neuro-oncology program in the region. We are dedicated to serving our expanding patient demographic through exceptional patient care and innovative clinical trials. Our multidisciplinary team comprises neuro-oncologists, neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, behavioral oncologists, neuropsychologists, speech-language therapists, and neurological rehabilitation specialists, all coordinated by a dedicated neuro-oncology patient navigator.
Our medical professionals remain at the forefront of technology and oncology advancements by participating in over 200 clinical trials, including Phase 1 trials and next-generation sequencing, to deliver the latest targeted therapies. Recognized as a Center of Excellence in radiation oncology, our center utilizes cutting-edge stereotactic radiosurgery technology, including TrueBeam STX. Furthermore, our comprehensive neurosurgery program employs state-of-the-art technology and expertise to provide minimally invasive neurosurgical care, featuring innovations such as laser interstitial thermal therapy and intraoperative neurosurgical robotics. As a multidisciplinary program, the Brain Tumor Center presents a wide array of treatment options tailored to each patient. Patient outcomes are meticulously tracked and presented at national conferences annually, including those hosted by the Society for Neuro-Oncology.
Position Highlights
- Completion of either neurology or oncology residency training is mandatory; neuro-oncology fellowship training is essential.
- No stroke call obligations for neurology-based providers and no benign hematology call for oncology providers.
