Behavior Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at E-Therapy. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in implementing applied behavior analysis (ABA) interventions and supporting students with behavioral challenges in school settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to address students' behavioral challenges and promote skill development.
- Collect and record data on students' behavior and progress towards behavioral goals and objectives using established data collection methods and tools.
- Provide direct behavioral support and coaching to students in various settings, including classrooms, therapy rooms, and other school environments.
- Utilize positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors and social skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff to create and maintain a supportive and structured learning environment for students with behavioral needs.
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies as needed to address challenging behaviors and ensure the safety of students and staff.
- Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and other members of the educational team to provide updates on students' progress, behavior, and intervention strategies.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in behavior analysis and intervention techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
- Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program and certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities in a school or clinical setting (preferred).
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles, behavior intervention techniques, and positive behavior support strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, school staff, and behavior analysts.
