CRNA Job Description

Nevada Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly qualified CRNA to provide safe and effective anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical, obstetrical, and other medical procedures. As a CRNA, you will work collaboratively with our team of physicians, surgeons, and nurses to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients' vital signs during surgical and medical procedures
  • Educate patients and their families about anesthesia and its effects
  • Collaborate with the anesthesia team to develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans
  • Evaluate and adjust anesthesia levels to ensure patients' comfort and safety
  • Monitor patients' recovery from anesthesia and provide appropriate post-anesthesia care
  • Document all procedures and patient responses accurately and timely
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Current and valid license as a CRNA in the state of Missouri
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a CRNA in a hospital setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
