The Odessa College Rodeo Ranch - Graham Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated Ranch Caretaker to join our team. As the primary caretaker and laborer, you will be responsible for ensuring the ranch is clean, habitable, pleasing, and safe.

• Maintenance and upkeep of ranch buildings, barns, fences, and equipment
• Maintenance and upkeep of pastures, paddocks, pens, and other outdoor areas
• Raking, cleaning, irrigation, irrigation equipment maintenance, and tree cutting
• Maintenance of Graham Center vehicles and equipment with assistance from the college motor pool
• Maintenance of arena grounds for practices, jackpots, and schools
• Preparation of fields for spring and fall planting, plant pastures, and fertilize
• Cut and bale all of the hay on the Graham Center on a schedule agreed upon with the ranch manager
• Transport hay from fields to barn after cutting and bailing
• Observe livestock for illness or injury and report any abnormalities to Physical Plant and/or veterinarian
• Supervise and conduct feeding of all livestock
• Maintenance of livestock watering equipment in good working order and ensure that all livestock are provided with water at all times

• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of livestock and farming practices, operation of power tools and machinery
• Self-starter
