We seek individuals who are passionate about animal welfare, detail-oriented, and motivated to excel. Our Veterinary Technicians play a crucial role in our operations, collaborating closely with our Veterinarians (DVMs) during medical procedures. A full-time position entails working between 30-40 hours weekly.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in delivering high-quality veterinary services, advocate for animal health, and educate pet owners.
- Support the medical team to enhance productivity and ensure a smooth patient experience.
- Participate in surgical procedures in compliance with state regulations for credentialed veterinary technicians.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets' health and provide guidance on available services and treatments.
- Maintain accurate medical records with the help of practice management systems.- Gather health histories and keep medical charts updated.
- Employ safe restraint techniques, adhere to established protocols, and maintain clean and organized treatment areas, examination rooms, and laboratories.
- Be prepared to mentor and assist fellow team members.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting is essential.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and engage in physical activities such as squatting, reaching, standing, and walking throughout the day.
