We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in our preconstruction process, utilizing their expertise to provide accurate cost estimates that will drive the success of our projects.

This permanent position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of construction projects, from residential builds to large-scale commercial developments.

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments to ensure that potential project problems are foreseen and the risk is minimized.
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
• Presentation of prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
• Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.
• Establish and maintain tendering processes, and conduct negotiations.
• Provide consultation on planning (schedules, manpower needs, etc.).

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in a role related to preconstruction and cost estimation.
• A strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software, such as estimating, project management, or spreadsheet software.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• A degree in a related field, such as construction science, construction management, or engineering, is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or similar will be a plus.
