We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Christus Health. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing programs for individuals with communicative disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer diagnostic assessments and treatment programs to clients, and maintain accurate records of progress.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children and adults with complex communication needs.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and treatment modalities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This is a per diem position, with flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department.
