Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of procedures with the knowledge and ability to apply the proper scan protocols needed to visualize the anatomy in question.

Under the broad direction of the Radiologist, CT Supervisor, Diagnostic Imaging Manager, and the Administrator of Diagnostic Imaging, you will perform procedures on selected anatomy as requested by the clinician on patients based on age appropriateness criteria.

The ideal candidate will have one to two years of previous CT experience in a hospital setting and advanced CT training or experience. Additionally, you will be required to obtain Advanced Certification within 18 months of hire date.

Responsibilities will include operating all scanners and other associated equipment, such as pressure injectors, to acquire high-quality diagnostic images on patients regardless of age group. You will also be responsible for understanding the process of computed radiology, image processing, archiving, and sending of images to the PACS stations and performing these tasks accurately and free of error.

Credentials and qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED, ARRT (R) or ARRT (T) certification, RT FL License, BLS certification, and competency in all aspects of Radiology and/or CT, patient positioning, and radiation protection.
