Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, working closely with our nursing staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide routine patient care procedures as determined by the plan of care and directed by the Registered Nurse.
  • Transfer and transport residents safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare residents for transport and maintain safety and confidentiality.
  • Act as a Resident Champion to advocate and escalate concerns.
  • Provide personal care services, including oral hygiene, manicures, shaving, and hair care.
  • Report observations of participants' performance behaviors and actions to the nurse.
  • Communicate effectively with personnel, residents, family, and other departments.
  • Recognize hazards to resident/patient safety and take appropriate action to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements:
  • Less than one year of experience.
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification.
  • Must pass the GNA exam within the first 90 days.
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited CNA program.
  • CNA license or 90-day Temporary CNA license must be posted to the Maryland Board of Nursing Site.
