We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Intern to join our team at CVS Health. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional care to each patient.
Key Responsibilities- Assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing patient care
- Conduct patient consultations and provide health education
- Manage inventory and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Immunization eligibility
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
