Position Overview:
- As a Pediatric Neurologist, you will provide specialized care for children with neurological conditions.
- Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and Friday from 8 AM to 2 PM.
- Your role will encompass both inpatient and outpatient pediatric neurology services.
- Engagement in outreach initiatives to support rural communities will be part of your responsibilities.
- You will collaborate with nursing staff and various medical specialties throughout your daily practice.
- Supervision of pediatric neurology services at affiliated hospitals may be required periodically.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including evaluations, diagnostics, and treatment plans.
- Prescribe necessary medications and develop treatment strategies.
- Work collaboratively with advanced practice registered nurses to enhance patient outcomes.
- Coordinate care activities with nursing and support personnel to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a residency in Pediatrics.
- Completion of a fellowship in Pediatric Neurology.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Neurology.
- Eligibility for a medical license in the relevant state.
- Authorized to practice in the United States.

- Strong communication abilities within a collaborative healthcare team.
- Commitment to teamwork and patient-centered care.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications and a willingness to adapt to new technologies.
