Job Summary:

This position offers opportunities to work on a wide array of projects in the industrial, commercial, hospitality, energy, and public sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Project management, permitting, design, and preparation of civil site, grading, drainage, erosion control, and utility plans as well as design reports.
  • Perform all aspects of design (grading, drainage, water, sewer, hydrology, erosion control, etc.) with an emphasis on technical and project delivery excellence.
  • Prepare technical reports, concept designs, construction specifications, construction drawings, bidding documents, and permit applications for approvals.
  • Participate in value engineering and prepare construction cost estimates.
  • Participate in both private and public sector clients/projects.
  • Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
  • Understanding of all phases of engineering document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications.

Requirements:

  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Direct experience in client management and business development is an asset.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil3D, Hydrology / Hydraulic design software will be an asset.
  • Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections, business development activities, etc.
